  | Put on your walking shoes because the Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Association (AIBBA) has recently announced a fantastic lineup of open-house self-guided walking tours for 2008. From flowers to pumpkins to "secret" cookie recipes, the AIBBA has something for everyone.
The first tour is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 1pm - 5pm and is certain to be a great gift idea for Mom on her weekend. The "House and Garden Tour" will give guests a picturesque view of some of Amelia Island's most remarkable landscapes, as well as an opportunity to explore the public areas of each of the participating bed and breakfast inns. Look for the latest ideas in native plant gardens, flower arranging and tropical solutions by the beach. Additionally, visitors can purchase the recently released Cooking with the Inns of Amelia Island cookbook during the tour - another great gift for Mom!
Fall Decorating Tour, October 11 - Visit Fernandina's architectural jewels at the height of fall color. Enjoy pumkins on the porches, fall-themed table settings and hear of possible hauntings. Explore the inns' common areas, each with a unique decorating scheme.
Holiday Cookie Tour, November 22 - Looking for a new cookie recipe? Let Fernandina's "pro" bakers share a recipe and a taste of their signature baked goods. Some inns will be fully decorated for Christmas, some for Thanksgiving and some will be in-progress. This tour will offer a broad scope of holiday decor.
