FERNANDINA BEACH -- Mudhens, Hello Dollies and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip; sound like some recipes that you’d like to add to your holiday cookie file?  Then join us for the Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Holiday Cookie Tour Saturday, November 22nd 1-5pm.  This self-guided, self-paced event will allow you to tour all seven bed and breakfast inns while sampling mouth-watering cookies at each, and then take the recipes home with you in time for your holiday baking inspiration.

The Cookie Tour represents the final in a trio of tours offered this year by the Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Association, each featuring a different style of décor to give tour guests a look at the inns throughout the seasons.  The Garden Tour in May gave guests a peek at yards and hidden gardens in full spring glory while the Pumpkin Tour in October featured fall table décor, pumpkin inspired refreshments and trick-or-treating for coupons.  The Cookie Tour will showcase some inns fully decorated for Christmas, some decked out for Thanksgiving and some in-between, but all featuring signature cookies and recipes.  The inns will also all be selling gift certificates and the Association’s new cookbook Cooking With the Inns of Amelia Island – two perfect choices for a gift for the holidays.

Tour stops will include all seven member inns:  Hoyt House, Ash Street Inn, Fairbanks House, Amelia Island Williams House, Florida House Inn, Elizabeth Pointe Lodge and the Addison On Amelia.  Tickets for all ages are $20 and may be purchased at any of the participating inns or at the Visitors’ Center in the depot on Centre Street.   They can also be purchased online here.  For discount tickets for groups of 20 or more, please contact Theresa Hamilton at 904-277-0500.
