Cooking with the Inns of Amelia Island is a collection of 150 easy but elegant recipes from each of the seven bed and breakfast inns located on historic Amelia Island. Now you can entertain with ease and flair.

Each Innkeeper has shared their most requested and mouthwatering recipes. Recipes include everything from appetizers to entrees, many with make-ahead or time saving tips.
Whether you're preparing for a special occasion or just a family gathering your guest will be impressed by these tried and true recipes. A delicious collection that  will elicit "oohs and aahs" from your family and friends.

For Breakfast you might try The Williams House "Bacon Potato Strata" which is served with "Pineapple Breakfast Dessert" topped with ice cream. Or there's the Three Cheese Spinach and Egg Casserole, a favorite at the Hoyt House. The Ash St. Inn features their recipe for Mushroom and Artichoke Strata as well as Autumn Eggs with Potatoes.

In addition, there are recipes for side dishes like Apple Maple Sausages, Cheese Grits and Hobo Potatoes. Or enjoy such fruit concoctions as The Addison's Cream-Filled Strawberries, Cinnamon Baked Grapefruit or Pears Extraordinaire. For the breakfast "sweet tooth" there are recipes for pancakes and french toast including Fairbanks House "Pumpkin Pancakes", Ash St. Inn's Ginger Pancakes and others like Orange French Toast or Cranberry Stuffed French Toast to name a few.

Homemade breads, muffins and coffee cakes are the staples of a good inn. Some favorites include Elizabeth Pointe Lodge's Miss Ona's Orange Juice Bread and Sunrise Muffins.

For the heartier appetite there are lunch classics like Butternut Squash Soup and Crab Bisque from the Florida House Inn's collection, Stone Harbor Crab Brunch, or Ham and Broccoli Bake. Dinner entrees include The Best Chili Recipe, Sesame Ginger Ahi Tuna, Lemon Rosemary Green Beans and many more.

And, let's not forget Dessert: Hoyt House has included their "Toffee Chocolate Chip Crunch Cookies" and "Peanut Butter Orange Blossoms" and you just can't beat Florida House Inn's Carrot Cake.
